Ljuba Jakupovic
Der Maler Ljuba Jakupovic ist 1950 in damaligen Jugoslawien geboren. Er genoss 6 Jahre lang eine klassische Ausbildung beim russischen akademischen Maler Prof. Prutkov.
Seine Arbeiten wurden in ex Jugoslawien unter anderem in Budva, Dubrovnik auf der Insel Sveti Stefan und in Celje ausgestellt.
Ein zweites künstlerisches Standbein hatte Ljuba in der Musik und diese führte ihn unter anderem nach Skandinavien wo er auch malte und über die Galerien in Falun und Umea ausstellte.
Nach seinen Musikstudium an der Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Graz schloss Ljuba 1994 als Jazztrompeter ab. Parallel dazu hat er seine künstlerische Laufbahn als Maler nicht vernachlässigt.
Weitere Ausstellungen folgten in Graz, im Teatro Teresa Carreno in Caracas sowie in der jugoslawischen Botschaft in Frankfurt.
Seit einiger Zeit lebt Ljuba in Deutschland, malt, macht Musik und ist weiterhin dem Balkan verbunden, liebt Sonne, Süden, das Meer, kräftige Farben und starken Ausdruck.
Ljuba ist ein sehr breit orientierter Maler er, malt Portraits, Ikonen, Landschaften und Stillleben.
Er sagt von sich selbst: Ich fühle mich als ein Mensch aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, damals ist in der Malerei die klassische Phase zu Ende gegangen und ich versuche bis in die heutige Zeit diesen Stil zu wahren, selbst wenn einige meine Bilder viele moderne Aspekte haben“. Das war vor zwei Jahren. Heute sehen sie in meinen neuen Arbeiten immer mehr expressiven Charakter, dennoch habe ich mir auch meine klassische Note bewahrt.
In den letzten Jahren stellte Ljuba Jakupovic unter anderem 2008 in Bad Nauheim im Altem Rathaus, sowie in der LHB Frankfurt am Main sowie in Bad Homburg aus. 2009 bis 2010 folgten Ausstellungen in Sulzbach / Taunus, Bad Camberg, sowie in Espa.
Seit Oktober 2010 ist Ljuba Jakupovic Mitglied im BBK Frankfurt, hier wurden seine Bilder im April 2011 vorgestellt.
Ljuba Jakupovic was born in 1950 in the former Yugoslavia. He received a classical training for 6 years from the russian academic artist Professor Prutkov.
Several exhibitions of his work were held in the former Yugoslavia, including in Budva, Dubrovnik, on the island of Sveti Stefan and in Celje.
Ljuba also has a second strand to his artistic talent in the form of music, which took him to Scandinavia, among other places, where he also painted and exhibited in galleries in Falun and Umea.
After his studies of music at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz, Ljuba graduated as a jazz trumpeter. Beside his music, he also followed his painting career, with exhibitions in Graz, Teatro Teresa Carreno in Caracas and in the Yugoslav embassy in Frankfurt.
In recent years Ljuba has been living in Germany, painting, making music and maintaining his links with the Balkans, loving the sun, the south, the sea, strong colours and a powerful means of expression.
There is a broad spectrum to Ljuba’s artistic talent. He paints portraits, icons, landscapes and still lifes.
Of himself he says: “I feel like a person from the 19th century, a time when the classical phase in painting had come to an end. I am trying to protect this style in the present day, even if some of my paintings contain many modern aspects.” This was two years ago. Today you can see in my „Neue Arbeiten“ a more expressive Style, but also with a classical note.
In the last years Ljuba Jakupovic had some exhibitions including 2008 in Bad Nauheim, in the LHB Frankfurt and Bad Homburg, followed by exhibitions in Sulzbach, Bad Camberg and Espa in 2009/2010.
Since October 2010 Ljuba Jakupovic is member in the BBK Frankfurt and introduced himself with a exhibition in April 2011.
